Tamara Tripic holds a bachelor of law degree. Tamara has been a member of the Democratic Party for more than two decades. She is also a member of the Council for the Municipality of Vracar and she is in charge of education and co-operation with civil society organisations. She is the author and moderator of the town hall debates series, entitled “Freely in Vračar“, facilitating dialogue of all steakeholder groups on key social topics. Between 2012 and 2014, she was an MP in the National Assembly, Deputy-Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality and Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Gender Equality. Tamara was the first Member of Parliament in the Serbia state delegation for reporting on progress to the CEDAW committee.
