Hanna Ohm Cleaver is currently employed as Advisor at the Permanent Danish Delegation to the OECD in Paris, where she is working on issues such as emerging economies, global governance and multilateral trade. She was born in 1987 in Denmark and holds a Master in Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen. Her thesis was based on long-term fieldwork among student activists in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. In 2014, she presented her findings at an international colloquium on student activism at the University of Sorbonne in Paris. Before taking up her current position in June 2015, she served as Head of Section in the Department for Africa of the Danish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen, focusing on issues of regional integration and stabilisation. With a special interest in journalism, Hanna has worked as editor at a Danish political magazine and published regularly in Danish media.
