Admir has a PhD in Health Economics, and a Master in Health Management completed at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. Previously he graduated in Pharmacy at the University of Camerino in Italy. Admir has held the position of General Secretary of the Albanian Order of Pharmacists; Director of Methodological Guidance and Co-ordination at the Central Inspectorate; Adviser of the Minister of Social Welfare and Youth; and lately he has worked as local expert on social protection and social reintegration for UN agencies such as UNDP and UNICEF. He has also been an external lecturer at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel”, Tirana Medical University and University of Camerino. He is part of international research networks related to drug policies and consumption. He is also author and co-author of several publications on health economics and pharmaceutical policies. In 2015, Admir completed the course on political studies of the Albanian School on Political Studies. His areas of competence include health economics, regulatory sciences, social protection and inclusion.
